Goldenes Fassle in Kempten

Shortly before the "lockdown" we wanted to treat ourselves again. So this time we decided on the Fäßle. Reservation was easy. We were welcomed very friendly early on Saturday evening and accompanied to the square. Brief information from the charming service staff that various dishes are already "out" due to the forced closure. We opted for soups as starters and Kässpatzen, veal schnitzel and veal cheeks for the main course. The greeting from the kitchen threw me off my stool. The soups were then perfectly seasoned and had a pleasant consistency. The main courses were fantastic. Unfortunately, the portion size was not satisfactory (for me), so I had to order another portion. Conclusion: Super tasty, great service a little more on the plate then it would be perfect

We went there for lunch at 3pm today. Everything was perfect, from the service to the food and the Kaiserschmarrn for dessert, simply a poem. We can definitely recommend the Goldene Fässle!

The service is unfortunately not that fast but always friendly. We were probably there at a marginal time and there was less staff present. Price, quality and ambience are absolutely satisfactory.

Where do you start with praise? Super friendly service team, also very nice to small children, excellent cuisine, every meal that came out of the kitchen looked delicious, this time I had the stuffed corn poulard breast with rosemary jus - it tasted excellent, kudos to the chef and his team ! We will be back

You are very welcome at the Fässle. So welcome that your order will be taken quickly. However, from this point on you wait about an hour for your STARTER. (I took a 3 course menu). After she took my starter plate after 10 minutes, it took about 25 minutes until the main courses came. My companion had ordered the same dish as me, but not in the 3-course menu. Strangely, there was twice as much puree and fish on his plate than mine. (A real offer-class) There was dessert twice, once too much, of course it was taken away again. But they still wanted to have paid for the settlement. They don't really want money either, because after the 2nd time we say that we want to pay, every 20 minutes, we got up and ran ahead to pay there. And why now 3 stars? Quite simply and in short, Eating good, but serving slowly and ignoring you. PS: I will not go back here.

Christian Henze, together with his wife and the team, has created something really special and special in Kempten. Certainly not a spot for most people to eat there every day, but definitely for special occasions! The food has always been extremely delicious, the staff friendly and eager to please, but not intrusive. The wine selection was excellent (the Primitivo is out of this world. * A matter of taste). A small piece of jewelery is the vault of the wine cellar, in which I was unfortunately not allowed to dine, but which I would like to do for a special occasion. We always like to come and they like to spend the money there for a reasonable price / performance ratio

The service that a restaurant lives on was poor, we would be asked 4 times whether we ordered the drink or the food (from different waiters / waitresses). The main course was good, but the bedside table (Kaiserschmarrn) was hard and not fluffy. In addition, the dessert was much more than the main course.

We came here with great expectations and unfortunately we were disappointed. Service and ambience very nice. Meat was cooked to the point and very tasty. But salad completely drowned, food partly over-seasoned, probably comes from the fact that some things are already cooked and then only heated. This makes the taste too intense. The whole thing wasn't really bad, I just think that the price / performance is absolutely not right for the offer. Tried it once, it doesn't have to be again.

My first visit to this restaurant on the recommendation of a colleague. Salad and wild herb cheese spaetzle are extremely tasty and priced below the average, which is now over € 11 even in simple restaurants in the country. The home-baked bread for. Salat a poem. Good portion that will fill even good eaters. Very friendly and unobtrusive service. We recommend.

The first time I additionally submit a rating on Google (Tripadvisor reviewer)! There were four of us in the barrel and it was really nice and delicious! We had starters, main courses and dessert ... which were very delicious and appealing. In the cellar we looked for a wine from which we were then served. The location is very nice and you feel comfortable, we were in the room with the tiled stove. The service was very friendly and attentive! Here we come again! P.s .: Also we picked up a Sachertorte 2 weeks ago to take away (the report in the TvAllgäu made us curious), we personally found them top, perfectly matched, with very delicious chocolate and perfect sweetness!
